Lockheed Martin (LMT) has signed a definitive deal to buy Amentum Holdings' (AMTM) Rapid Solutions business for $360 million in cash, the companies said Wednesday.
Rapid Solutions manufactures products aligned with national security missions.
The deal is expected to close in H2 and generate about $325 million in after-tax proceeds. Upon closing, about 230 employees will transition to Lockheed Martin.
