Health care stocks were steady pre-bell Thursday as the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) was inactive and the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) was down a slight 0.1% recently.
Merck (MRK) shares were up over 1% after the company reported an increase in Q1 adjusted earnings.
