Truist Financial (TFC) said Friday that it has completed the initial testing phase of an alias-based bill payment system that uses The Clearing House's RTP network and Request for Payment platform.

The payment process will be streamlined for speed and simplicity by using 150 million previously enrolled US mobile and email tokens, the company said.
