0941 ET - International travel could see faster growth as consumers redirect spending outside of the U.S., Deutsche Bank analyst Lee Horowitz says. Booking said in its first-quarter earnings Tuesday that travel demand softened in the U.S. with pressures on nights, booking windows and lengths of stay. Global demand outside the U.S. remains resilient and is showing no sign of slowing or trade-downs, Booking said, reflecting trends that many airlines have noted. "Put simply, any global travelers that are spurning the U.S., are redeploying that trip dollar for dollar elsewhere," Horowitz says. Booking shares fall 2% to $4,812.44 Wednesday morning.
