Swan Defence and Heavy Industries (NSE:SWANDEF, BOM:533107) signed a memorandum of understanding with Wheel & Time Shipping Transport Logistics, a specialist in moving heavy cargo.
Under the tie-up, the parties will launch a F.A.S.T. (Fabrication, Assembly, Storage, and Transportation) commercial logistics ecosystem at Swan Defence's Pipavav shipyard in Gujarat, India, according to a Tuesday filing with Indian bourses.
The F.A.S.T. model combines Swan Defense's fabrication and waterfront infrastructure with Wheel & Time's heavy logistics capabilities to provide turnkey solutions for heavy engineering projects.
The platform will cater to sectors including ports, marine infrastructure, petrochemicals, oil & gas, offshore EPC, and material handling equipment, the filing said.
