UK Stocks-Factors to watch on April 30

April 30 - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening lower on Wednesday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.05%.

* BP: Woodside Energy WDS.AX said it had signed a supply deal under which BP BP.L would supply natural gas to its Louisiana liquefied natural gas $(LNG)$ project.

* BURBERRY: Burberry BRBY.L is evaluating potential candidates for a chairman, Sky News reported.

* PRUDENTIAL: Prudential PRU.L reported a 12% rise in new business profit for the first quarter.

* M&S: Marks & Spencer MKS.L said some stores have been left short of some food items as it continues to grapple with a "cyber incident".

* HISCOX: Hiscox HSX.L has appointed Nick Sinkus as chief underwriting officer for the U.S.

* ECONOMY : British business sentiment fell to its lowest level in three months, industry surveys by Lloyds Bank and the Confederation of British Industry showed .

* OIL: Oil prices edged lower in early Asian trading over concerns about fuel demand.

* GOLD: Gold prices dropped, pressured by a firmer dollar and de-escalating trade tensions, while investors awaited cues on the Federal Reserve's rate outlook.

* METALS: London metals fell as a stronger dollar eclipsed optimism over improving U.S.-China trade relations.

* The UK blue-chip index .FTSE closed up 0.6% on Tuesday marking its 12th consecutive winning session.
