Telefonica said it has been working to gradually recover its service after Spain was hit by a major electrical outage, which caused widespread disruption to the Iberian Peninsula.
The Spanish telecommunication company said Tuesday that more than 90% of its service was recovered in both fixed landline and mobile services.
The group activated a crisis committee on Monday to follow protocols set out in its contingency plan.
Telefonica continues to work to restore full normality, it added.
