Aris Mining Names Paterson CFO, Succeeding Orazietti

Aris Mining has appointed Cameron Paterson to be its next chief financial officer starting in July.

Paterson will succeed Richard Orazietti, who will step down as part of leadership succession plan, after the company finishes reporting its earnings for the first quarter, Aris said on Monday. Orazietti joined the Vancouver-based company in May 2024.

Paterson has held senior finance roles at Pan American Silver since 2014 and served as an executive since 2015. Prior to that, he was vice president of finance at Vancouver-based Veris Gold.
