Amkor Technology (AMKR) reported Q1 earnings late Monday of $0.09 per diluted share, up from $0.24 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet also expected $0.09.
Sales for the quarter ended March 31 were $1.32 billion, down from $1.37 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.28 billion.
For Q2, the company expects EPS of $0.07 to $0.23 on sales of $1.38 billion to $1.48 billion. Analysts expected earnings of $0.16 on sales of $1.33 billion.
Shares were up over 2% in after-hours trading.
