SHANGHAI/BEIJING, April 29 (Reuters) - Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Ltd (ICBC) 1398.HK 601398.SS, the world's largest lender by assets, said net profit fell 4.0% in the first quarter of this year.
Profit was 84.156 billion yuan ($11.58 billion) in the three months ended March 31, compared with 87.653 billion yuan in the same period last year, the bank said in a filing on Tuesday.
