Nidec (TYO:6594) will succeed assets worth 19.64 billion yen and liabilities of 6.65 billion yen from its wholly owned subsidiary Nidec Mobility under a planned absorption-type demerger, according to a Monday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The company said the amounts are based on the March 31 balance sheet and could change slightly before the May 1 effective date.
Nidec is transferring its inverter business to streamline operations.
