Mitsubishi Electric (TYO:6503) approved a share buyback of up to 60 million shares, or 2.89% of its outstanding stock, for a maximum of 100 billion yen, according to a Monday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The repurchase will be conducted through market transactions on the Tokyo Stock Exchange between April 30 and Oct. 31.
