0047 GMT - Asian currencies consolidate in the morning session, but may be buoyed by progress on trade talks between the U.S. and other countries. Commerce Secretary Lutnick on Tuesday said in a CNBC interview that he has reached a trade deal with an unnamed country. Treasury Secretary Bessent said the U.S. is making progress on trade agreements with India, South Korea and Japan. Also supportive was confirmation of earlier reporting that there'll be some exemptions to auto tariffs by the Trump administration, says Taylor Nugent, a senior economist at NAB, in an email. USD/KRW edges 0.2% lower to 1,428.70; USD/SGD is flat at 1.3080; AUD/USD is little changed at 0.6385. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
