1513 ET - U.S. natural gas futures rise for a third straight session with a pickup in LNG feedgas flows and slip in production supporting prices as the market awaits summer weather to boost demand. "While spring is showing itself to be relatively mild, summer is projected to be hotter for the majority of the U.S., especially in the West and Southern regions of the Lower 48," Gelber & Associates says in a note. The absence this summer of El Niño or La Niña patterns makes seasonal conditions more unpredictable, the firm adds. Nymex natural gas settles up 1.3% at $3.386/mmBtu. (anthony.harrup@wsj.com)
