Piedmont Lithium (ASX:PLL) shipped 27,000 dry metric tons (dmt) of spodumene concentrate in the first quarter from its North American Lithium operations (NAL), up 74% from 15,500 dmt a year earlier, according to a Tuesday statement by the company.
The spodumene concentrate produced at NAL rose to 43,300 dmt in the quarter, up 7% from 40,400 dmt last year.
The company said it is on track to achieve Sayona Mining's (ASX:SYA) production guidance for the current year of 190,000 to 210,000 dmt.
