Ecolab (ECL) reported Q1 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $1.50 per diluted share, up from $1.34 a year earlier.
That result matched the average estimate of analysts polled by FactSet.
Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $3.70 billion, down from $3.75 billion a year earlier.
That result also matched the average estimate of analysts surveyed by FactSet.
Ecolab said it expects Q2 adjusted diluted EPS of $1.84 to $1.94. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $1.90.
The company said it continues to expect 2025 adjusted diluted EPS of $7.42 to $7.62. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $7.49.
Shares of the company were up 2.5% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
