Li Auto delivered 33,939 vehicles in April, up 31.61 percent from 25,787 in the same month last year, but down 7.46 percent from 36,674 in March, according to data it released today.

The company's cumulative deliveries through the end of April stood at 1,260,675 vehicles.
The decline in deliveries in April from March was partly due to the fact that Li Auto is in the process of product switchover.
Li Auto unveiled the updated Li L6 SUV (sport utility vehicle) and Mega MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) on April 23, the first day of the Shanghai auto show, with no change in starting prices but better features.
The company has already begun accepting pre-orders for the two updated models and will begin taking firm orders on May 8.
Li Auto announced a special edition for the at the time, the Li Mega Home, with a starting price of RMB 559,800 ($77,000), higher than the regular Li Mega Ultra's starting price of RMB 529,800.
Li Mega is Li Auto's first battery electric vehicle (BEV) model, which was initially launched on March 1, 2024.
Li Auto's other on-sale models are all extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs) -- Li L9, Li L8, Li L7, Li L6.
The company plans to launch the Li i8, its first all-electric SUV, in July.
