Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd. reported a significant increase in sales volume for April 2025, with a total of 234,112 units sold, marking a 53% rise compared to the same period last year. The Geely brand itself sold 192,796 units, showing a 63% year-on-year growth, while the Galaxy series, now incorporating the Geometry series, saw a remarkable increase of 281% with 96,632 units sold. ZEEKR experienced a decline, with sales down 15% to 13,727 units. Conversely, LYNK & CO achieved a 47% increase, selling 27,589 units. The company's sales of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) surged by 199% to 92,360 units, while plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) rose by 62% to 33,203 units. However, exports decreased by 37% with 24,133 units sold. Proton, a subsidiary, sold 13,486 units in April, an 11% increase year-on-year, but its cumulative sales for the first four months of 2025 showed a 7% decrease. Overall, the year-to-date sales for the group reached 937,936 units, reflecting a 49% increase compared to last year.
