Karoon Energy's (ASX:KAR) Brazilian unit, Karoon Petroleo & Gas, completed the acquisition of the Cidade de Itajai floating production, storage, and offloading vessel from Altera & Ocyan, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

Karoon paid $115 million plus roughly $8 million in transaction costs, per the filing.

The new service operator of the asset is expected to be determined in mid-2025.
