Alibaba (HKG:9988) launched its Qwen3 series of artificial intelligence models, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday.

The series features two mixture-of-experts models that are seen to imitate human reasoning systems, and are open-source, the report said.

Qwen 3 is said to go head-to-head with DeepSeek in terms of performance, and is cheaper compared with other major models, Bloomberg said, citing Alibaba
