RTX increased its quarterly dividend 7.9% to 68 cents per share from 63 cents.
The increase was approved by the board of directors and announced by the company on Thursday. The payout is equal to $2.72 on an annual basis, and represents a dividend yield of 2.1% based on the latest closing share price of $127.41.
RTX, formerly known as Raytheon, is a defense contractor based in Arlington, Va.
The dividend will be payable on June 12 share owners of record at the close of business on May 23.
