ResMed (ASX:RMD) acquired VirtuOx, a US-based diagnostic testing provider for sleep, respiratory, and cardiac conditions, according to a Thursday statement by the company.

Under the deal, VirtuOx will operate as the company's unit and offer its at-home diagnostic services, per the statement.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, with the company stating the acquisition is not material to its financial results.
