However, altcoin seasons are not driven by chart patterns or some assumed lagging action compared to Bitcoin. Instead, they rely on Bitcoin's dominance decreasing and the total cryptocurrency market cap increasing.
With Bitcoin's dominance on the rise, Ethereum underperforming, and few other cryptocurrencies emerging as credible contenders during this cycle. Without a strong alternative narrative or leadership, other cryptocurrencies may continue to lag. Our altcoin performance model currently supports this view, remaining bullish on Bitcoin.
