African Gold (ASX:A1G) said drilling confirmed extensive gold mineralization at the Didievi gold project in the Ivory Coast, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The drilling results from Pranoi confirm a third significant gold discovery on the Didievi project, reporting significant intercepts of 25 meters at 1.6 grams per tonne grade of gold from 83 meters and 15 meters at 1.7 g/t grade of gold from 51 meters.
The firm is continuing to explore the project, seeking to define additional resources.
Its shares jumped 10% in recent trading on Tuesday.
