TA Associates to Acquire FD Technologies in $757.6 Million Deal

Private equity firm TA Associates will acquire FD Technologies in a deal that values the London-listed software company at about 570 million pounds ($757.6 million).

The acquisition has been agreed by both companies' boards and must get the support of a majority of shareholders as well as be approved by a U.K. court, the companies said.

FD Technologies shareholders are being offered 24.50 pounds in cash for each share they own, valuing the company at about 570 billion pounds.

The cash offer represents a premium of approximately 47.8% to the closing Price of 16.58 pounds per share on 21 March, its last trading day before the possible offer date.
