Property group Stockland (ASX:SGP) appointed Josh McHutchison as chief financial officer, effective early August, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

McHutchison, who succeeds Alison Harrop, is currently the CFO of Sydney Airport, the filing said.

Stockland's shares were up almost 1% in recent Monday trade.
