First Gen (PSE:GGEN) said its attributable recurring net income for the first quarter slid 4% to $77 million from $81 million a year ago.

The renewable energy solutions provider's revenue slid 2% to $583 million from $596 million a year earlier, according to a Tuesday Philippine bourse filing.

First Gen attributed the revenue decline to lower volumes of electricity sold during the quarter across the natural gas and geothermal platforms.
