Fortescue's (ASX:FMG) Founder and Non-Executive Chairman Andrew Forrest urged the re-elected Albanese Government of Australia to build a green iron industry, claiming it "can be the biggest industry Australia has ever built", according to a Monday company statement.
"This term must drive the build out of renewables and heavy industry decarbonisation while working with regional Australians to create jobs and prosperity," he added.
