Xiaomi (HKG:1810) renamed its intelligent driving feature as "assisted driving" in line with tighter Chinese regulations on promoting the feature following a deadly car crash, The Standard reported Tuesday, citing mainland media.
The official website of Xiaomi Auto showed the renaming, the report said, citing mainland media.
Salespersons of other electric vehicle companies such as Li Auto (HKG:2015), Nio (HKG:9866, SGX:NIO), Xpeng (HKG:9868), Avatr, and Harmony Intelligent have been avoiding promoting the assisted driving feature, the report said.
