Copper Search (ASX:CUS) said positive results from the airborne magnetic survey identified six new high magnetic response prospects as potential copper-gold porphyries at its Byrock project in New South Wales, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
It added that positive results from induced polarization geophysics surveys identified a significant chargeability anomaly at the project. The next steps include ground truthing, mapping, geochemistry, and close-spaced surface geophysics surveys to confirm drill targets.
It also conducted passive seismic and induced polarization results on copper-gold porphyry targets. per the filing.
The firm plans to derisk exploration and apply for New South Wales government co-funded grants.
