0925 ET - Natural gas futures are higher, extending the recovery from the April selloff. Traders are re-establishing positions although near-term fundamentals imply downside risks with mild weather and subdued shoulder-season LNG, Eli Rubin of EBW Analytics says in a note. "Non-fundamental factors may play a stronger role in setting near-term prices." The EIA's inventory report at 10:30 a.m. ET is expected to show an above-average 101 Bcf injection into storage, according to a Wall Street Journal survey of analysts. Nymex natural gas is up 1.5% at $3.675/mmBtu. (anthony.harrup@wsj.com)
