Chinese autonomous driving company Pony.ai teamed up with Uber for the deployment of Pony.ai's robotaxis on Uber's platform.
The partnership will be launched in the Middle East later in 2025, with deployments in other international markets to follow, according to a Tuesday news release.
In the initial phase, vehicles will have a safety operator onboard before transitioning to full autonomy.
