TransDigm Group (TDG) said Tuesday that Kevin Stein will retire as chief executive officer, effective Sept. 30.

Stein will be succeeded by co-chief operating officer Mike Lisman, the company said.

Stein will continue to serve as an adviser to the company through March 31, and will continue to serve as a member of the board, TransDigm said.
