Golden Faith's (HKG:2863) attributable profit rose to HK$6.2 million in the fiscal first half ended March 31 from HK$4.1 million in the year-ago period, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Earnings per share at the electrical and maintenance engineering services company increased to HK$0.009 from HK$0.006 in the prior-year period.
Revenue declined to HK$266.5 million from HK$346.3 million in the year-ago period.
The company declared an interim dividend of HK$0.03 per share, payable May 30 to shareholders on record as of May 28.
Golden Faith's shares surged 18% during the close of trading Thursday.
