Northwest Natural Holding's (NWN) SiEnergy Operating unit agreed to acquire 100% of the capital of Epcor USA's Hughes Gas Resources for $60 million in a deal expected to close in Q2, SiEnergy and Epcor said Monday.

The assets of Hughes Gas Resources include about 6,900 metered connections and 353 miles of pipeline that serve 12 communities northeast of Houston, the companies said.

The natural gas utility is expected to have a roughly $46 million rate base at the end of the year, the companies added.
