MKS Instruments (MKSI) said Wednesday it broke ground on its Atotech chemical manufacturing and TechCenter facility in Thailand.
The company said it is investing over $40 million in the 27,000 square-meter facility, which is anticipated to begin operations in H2 2027.
With an annual production capacity of 18,500 tons, the facility is expected to produce chemicals for surface treatments and plating and include laboratories for material science and quality control, the company said.
