Brookside Energy (ASX:BRK) started completion operations at the Bruins Well in Anadarko Basin, Oklahoma, with first production and sales expected for the second quarter, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

Equipment is now in place or mobilizing to the well location, with 24-hour operations scheduled for next week, targeting the Woodford formation, the filing said.

Shares fell past 1% in afternoon trade Thursday.
