Woolworths Group's (ASX:WOW) New Zealand unit said the New Zealand Commerce Commission filed charges against it under the Fair Trading Act in relation to in-store ticketing issues, the retailer said in a statement Tuesday.
Woolworths New Zealand said it had been cooperating with the regulator for some time.
The Commerce Commission filed charges in the Auckland District Court for alleged inaccurate pricing and misleading specials that may have breached the act, Stuff reported, citing Vanessa Horne, the regulator's general manager for competition, fair trading, and credit.
