Alibaba (HKG:9988) will partner with RedNote to allow users of the content platform to click directly on product links to shop on the Taobao e-commerce platform, Reuters reported Wednesday.
The collaboration will formalize the connection between the two platforms and is seen to attract consumers as e-commerce giants are fighting for market share, according to the report.
The move will help brands "reach consumers more effectively," the report said, citing Alibaba Vice President and Tmall chief Liu Bo.
