PTC India Financial Services (NSE:PFS, BOM:533344) recorded a sharp rise in its consolidated net profit to 581.6 million Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, from 138.4 million rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share climbed to 0.91 rupees compared with the year-ago figure of 0.22 rupees, according to a Saturday filing to the Indian stock exchanges by the non-banking finance company.
Total revenue from operations in fiscal Q4, however, slipped to 1.51 billion rupees from 1.76 billion rupees a year earlier.
