Stellantis (STLA) said Monday that it is on track to begin production of its Fiat 500 Hybrid model at its Mirafiori plant in Turin before the end of the year, with a target for November.

The automaker said it aims to produce 100,000 units of the hybrid vehicle per year as production reaches full capacity.

Shares were 7.8% higher in recent premarket activity.
