Indonesia's Consumer Confidence Index came in at 121.7 in April, up from 121.1 the month earlier, according to a Friday release from Bank Indonesia, citing its latest Consumer Survey.
The central bank attributed the sustained positive sentiment to a strong Current Economic Condition Index (CECI) and Consumer Expectation Index (CEI).
The CECI remained in optimistic territory at 113.7, up from 110.6 the month earlier, while CEI came in at 129.8, retreating from 131.7 a month earlier, but still in the positive territory.
