Telesat Signs Term Sheet With Arabsat for Multi-Orbit Connectivity Services

Telesat (TSAT) said Wednesday that the Arab Satellite Communications Organization, also known as Arabsat, selected its Lightspeed low earth orbit connectivity services for integration into Arabsat's multi-orbit satellite ecosystem.

The company said it signed a term sheet with Arabsat for a multi-Gbps capacity pool of Telesat Lightspeed connectivity services, which establishes a negotiated framework for Arabsat's integration of Telesat's Lightspeed services.

Telesat said it expects to seal definite agreements by December.
