Burford Capital Reclassified Into MSCI USA Indexes From UK

Burford Capital (BUR) said Wednesday it will be reclassified from the MSCI (MSCI) United Kingdom Indexes to the MSCI USA Indexes, effective June 2.

The company said the change, announced by MSCI on Tuesday and to be implemented on May 30, will also affect its inclusion in the MSCI US Equity Standard and Small Cap Indexes.

The shift is expected to prompt a short-term move of some passive investments from Burford's London listing to its New York listing, Burford said.
