China Eastern Airlines' (HKG:0670, SHA:600115) passenger transportation capacity in April climbed 9.66% year on year to 25.2 billion available seat-kilometres or ASK from nearly 23 billion ASK a year earlier, according to a Thursday disclosure on the Hong Kong Exchange.
The Chinese airline's passenger traffic jumped 15.56% to 21.5 billion revenue passenger-kilometres or RPK from 18.6 billion RPK in the previous year.
The company's freight traffic volume during the same month climbed 7.3% year on year, the disclosure said.
