Everus Construction Climbs After 1Q Revenue, Earnings Rise

Shares of Everus Construction rose after the company reported higher first-quarter earnings and revenue compared with a year ago.

Everus's stock was up about 13%, at $58. The stock closed with a 2.6% gain in the day's regular session, finishing at $51.42, but has been down about 22% since the start of the year.

The company reported first-quarter earnings per share of 72 cents on revenue of $826.6 million. In the year-ago period, the company reported EPS of 55 cents on revenue of $625.6 million.

Analysts were expecting EPS of 43 cents, according to FactSet.

The company also reported a backlog of $3.1 billion, up 10% from Dec. 31, 2024, and up about 41% from March 31 of last year.

The company also affirmed its 2025 revenue guidance of $3 billion to $3.1 billion.
