Insignia Financial (ASX:IFL) said it is in discussions with CC Capital for a possible takeover in the coming weeks, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

CC Capital has said it is working towards making a binding bid for the company in the coming weeks.

Bain Capital Private Equity, another bidder, has withdrawn its offer because of macro uncertainties.

There is no certainty that the discussions will result in any transaction, the filing added.
