Contact Energy (NZE:CEN, ASX:CEN) appointed Matt Forbes as chief financial officer, effective immediately, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
Forbes has been Contact Energy's acting CFO since predecessor Dorian Devers was appointed chief development and major projects officer in January, the filing stated. He previously headed the company's corporate finance team.
Contact Energy's Kiwi shares were down almost 1% in recent Wednesday trade.
