Anson Resources (ASX:ASN), through its subsidiary Blackstone Minerals, secured approval to start a drilling program to re-enter the Mt Fuel-Geyser 1-25 well at its Green River project in Utah, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The drilling program aims to extend the depth of the well and increase the thickness of the Leadville Limestone, potentially boosting the lithium-rich reservoir, the filing said.
The JORC resource estimate of contained lithium will be used in a definitive feasibility study to determine the project's economics if the program is successful, per the filing.
