Tamboran Resources (ASX:TBN) said the SS-2H ST1 well in the Beetaloo basin exploration permit in the Northern Territory was reopened to commence flow testing in mid-May, and the firm plans to test the well over a full 90-day period to understand the decline curve, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

It completed a 35-stage stimulation campaign of the SS-2H ST1 well across a 5,483-foot horizontal section during the March quarter, the filing said.

The well was suspended for a period of "soaking" for 62 days, following technical analysis of wells in the Beetaloo basin and studies undertaken in the US.

On completing its fundraising, Tamboran expects to drill and complete the remaining three wells required to deliver first gas under the proposed Shenandoah South pilot project of around 40 million cubic feet per day.

It plans to drill three wells in the middle of the year to supply gas to the proposed pilot project.

It also aims to stimulate four wells under a single campaign to maximize cost and operational efficiencies late in the year or the first half of 2026, subject to joint venture approval.
